Monterey Peninsula USD’s Make-Good Infrastructure

• A 2010 bond gave Monterey Peninsula Unified School District the funding it needed to overhaul the network infrastructure to support additional IT initiatives. Upgrading the network at all 20 schools, implementing wireless and installing IP-based phones became top priorities.
• MPUSD chose to standardize on Cisco equipment to simplify management.
• With CDW•G’s help, the IT department has rolled out improvements at 15 schools to date; remaining projects will be completed by spring 2014.
