EdTech’s 2013 Must-Read IT Bloggers Nominations Round

Help us create the ultimate list of higher education IT blogs.

The higher education blogger list is back for round two!

Last year, we handpicked 50 of the best higher education technology bloggers and created the now-famous Must-Read Higher Ed IT blogger list. We called it The Dean’s List, and we spent many hours combing the web to find the bloggers who were creating the best resources and bringing the most to the higher education community. This year, we are going to do things a little differently. We are asking our readers to submit their favorite higher education IT blogs and vote on the ones they would like to see on the 2013 list.

Here’s how it works: Below, you will find a tool that allows you to submit a blog (and, yes, it can be your own) and vote for other submissions. To add a blog, click “Add to List.” You will be prompted to sign in with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Google+ and then register with your email. (We apologize in advance for the inconvenience, but we want to keep our list free of spammers.) Once you do so, you will be able to add a blog. Simply click “Add to List” one more time, and then select “Item with Link.” Include a link to the blog you would like to nominate, and provide a short description of what readers will find there. You can also vote for your favorite blogs using the arrow to the right of each blog.

We ask that your submissions be limited to blogs (no forums). We are planning a list of the best higher education IT forums for later in the year.

Submitting and voting begin immediately and will end on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Then, we’ll assemble the final list and publish it the following week.

We’ve included a few of last year’s bloggers and added a few new ones to get you started. So don’t wait another minute — help us create the ultimate list of higher education IT bloggers!

UPDATE: The 2013 Dean's List has been finalized and posted here.
